My love story began with images from Kurasawa's film 'Rashomon' (1950), but I cheerfully went on to plunder an unlimited range of sources in cinema & literature, along with my own thoughts & love letters. Anne Sexton, Ted Hughes, William Godwin & Mary Woolstencraft are amongst those lovers from the past who are quoted. The ferment of eclectic references mirror the exhuberance of the start of a love affair. I included a gift of 3 wishes -needles to redeem a lost loved one.
