For over two decades, since graduating from the Royal College of Art, Eyal Sasson's practice has explored the ambiguity between the mechanical processes of painting and expressive gesture. In recent projects, he focused on the abstract language of form and its ability to render narratives of figure and body. The works in this exhibition delve deeper into the ambiguous relationship between abstraction and figuration. Through an interplay of form, color and surface, the artist invites us to contemplate issues of conflict, detachment, vulnerability and collapse.

A leaflet featuring a commissioned essay by artist and lecturer Shirley Wegner is available during the exhibition and on this link.
