Oona Grimes exhumed Admiral William Bligh 1754-1817. In the past Bligh has been resurrected by cinematic mediums: Charles Laughton [1935], Trevor Howard [1962] and Anthony Hopkins [1984].

Compelling themes of Man pushed to the limits of his endurance are explored-of battling with the elements-not to mention the homo-erotic temptations embodied in the person of Fletcher Christian.

Previous incarnations of Mister Christian include: Clark Gable, Marlon Brando and Mel Gibson.

Bligh's Bounty Box is a handbound book of etchings reminiscent of children’s colouring in activity books complete with crayons. Dimensions: 26cm x 74.5cm to be placed where accessible to invite participation.
